The Cessna TTx (formerly know as the Cessna 350 or Columbia 400) is a single-engine, low wing aircraft built from composite materials by Cessna Aircraft. Featuring a turbocharged Continental 310HP engine and Garmin avionics suite, the TTx is know for its speed and advanced aerodynamics making it “the fastest single piston-engined four-seat tourer in the world.” (Pilot Web, 2017)
The Cirrus SR22T is a single-engine, low-wing composite aircraft built by Cirrus Aircraft of Duluth, Minnesota. While sporting advanced avionics, a turbocharged 315HP engine and options like FIKI and built-in air conditioning, the aircraft is best know for the integration of a built-in parachute known as CAPS (Cirrus Airframe Parachute System). The SR22 is the most-produced GA aircraft of the 21st century, accounting for over 30% of the entire piston aircraft market.
